January 24 Construction Update

Welcome to your first construction update in 2024. Traders In Purple is thrilled to provide the following update regarding construction progress at Marin.

The construction team returned to site in early January and have made significant progress, despite some of the recent wet weather. The podium level slab pours are 80% complete and the precast install on this level is underway. The decorative upstand wall which runs along the building facade above the retail is due to be completed in early February and as the building starts to take shape, scaffolding has started to wrap the building.

Painting of the soffit and install of the hydraulic and electrical services has commenced in the basement. The team have started removing the formwork back propping from podium level 1 and formwork has commenced for level 2 slab pours, the first level of typical apartments.

Looking ahead, the people and materials hoist will be installed in February and the construction team will continue slab pours and install of services. The temporary site facilities currently installed in the Marin driveway will be relocated to under the building on level 1.
